Nick Carraway Cat

The summer Nick Carraway moved to West Egg, to a shabby cottage in the great shadow of Gatsby’s mansion, he found himself front row and center to a parade of caterers, musicians, gardeners, chauffeurs, and Gatsby’s weekend menagerie of young and beautiful guests. That long summer was to change him forever.

“Nick Carraway Cat” is a acrylic painting from my Gatsby Collection, a series of cat portraits based on characters from the 1925 F. Scott Fitzgerald novel. He was painted in acrylics onto a 5″x7″ canvas panel.

“I was within and without. Simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life.” ~ The Great Gatsby

Archival prints of “Nick Carraway” can be purchased by special request
