Margot

While painting Jay Gatsby, Daisy Buchanan, and Nick Carraway ~ the cat portraits in my Gatsby Collection, I became enamored by the Roaring 20’s style and decided to continue painting Flapper Cats. “Margot” was done in acrylics onto a 5″x7″ canvas panel.

Margot, who goes only by her first name, can be found lingering near the jazz band, drinking French 75, and smoking Gaulois Bleu. She makes witty observations on inappropriate subjects, and tells raunchy jokes in her deep, raspy purr.

“I’m no model lady. A model’s just an imitation of the real thing.” ~ Mae West

Archival prints and other gifts featuring “Margot” can be purchased by special request.
