Dorothy Cat

When a tornado sweeps across a Kansas prairie, transporting a farmhouse into a magical world, little calico barn-cat Dorothy lands on a yellow, brick road leading to Oz, a wicked witch, and three amazing new friends.

“Dorothy Cat” is an acrylic painting from my feline adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s “Wonderful Wizard of Oz”; and one of four Cats of Oz portraits donated to the 2013’s “Art for the Animals” annual charity auction supporting Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

“If we walk far enough, I am sure we shall sometime come to somewhere.” ~ Dorothy, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Archival prints of Dorothy Cat can be purchased here in my shop, and from me personally at art shows.
