I am so excited to finally be publishing my own calendar of artwork! It has been several years in the making, and I’m already planning ideas for next year. :)
As of this evening, the 2015 Literary Cats Calendar is
133% 141% funded. We reached our goal ONE WEEK after launch… Wow! :D
I am very grateful to my friends and fans for their encouragement and support of this project!
Since the Kickstarter project will run until this Friday night, November 21st, 10:00PM EST, we have the potential to gain even more calendar pledges, and I would highly suggest pre-ordering your calendars from Kickstarter if you want one, as pledging will GUARANTEE you get as many copies as you’d like. Leftover calendars will be sold in my Etsy shop and at my show booths, but only Kickstarter backers will get the special perks, which include FREE 8″x10″ prints, greeting cards, and additional calendars!
I’ve added two Stretch Goals to keep momentum going, and hopefully we can reach at least one of these new funding goals. :)
The first one should be pretty easy, as we’ve currently raised $933… as we’ve reached $993 already, while I sat here typing this! LOL!
If we reach $1,000 by Friday, I will be giving away an additional 8″x10″ print (your choice!) to each backer who pledges over $10. You don’t even have to order a calendar to get this free print! :)
If we reach $1,200 by Friday, I will be giving away ONE additional Calendar to each backer who pledged $10 or more! That’s a FREE calendar for you and everyone else… just for encouraging a few more people to get on board and pledge. ;)
So what am I going to do with all this money?!? LOL
Well, I will definitely need to upgrade my order from the initial 50 calendars, to at least 75-100, in order to give everyone an extra calendar. ;)
I’m also going to order a couple packs of Epson’s Cold Press paper (for all the prints!), and at least two complete sets of ink cartridges (to print all the rewards!).
Depending on the amount of add-on perks that people request, I will probably need to order some extra blank acrylic magnets and/or key-chains.
In short, I will be using the funds leftover from purchasing the calendars to stock up on supplies I need to fulfill your pledges, and to replenish my print inventory for the holiday rush. :)
THANK YOU for your support of this project! Keep sharing! =^,,^=

My new painting, "Dali's Whiskers", is complete and on its way to Ireland, for a cat-themed gallery exhibit in September! =^,,^=
Salvador Dali's ocelot is featured in this piece, sporting a fancy mustache, in a surrealistic dreamscape of melting clocks and gangling elephants. :)
